Family Activities

Colne has a jam packed events calendar, so do head over to our events page for the low-down on festivals and big occasions.  There are a surprising number of fun, family activities available daily in little, old Colne.  There is the great combination of Prestige Karting and Lazerzone at the bottom of the High Street at Primet and there’s the roller rink offering children’s sessions and Adult only nights, with live music, in the former Market Hall at The Fun House on Dockray Street at the top of town.  Underneath The Fun House  is Northern Raceway Scalextric Events, Food Court (featuring Granny’s Kitchen and Little Italy) and children’s fin area (featuring gaming, small soft play area and mini go karts!)
 
At the bottom of the town is our Leisure Centre, which features a swimming pool and state-of-the-art gym; while just outside the centre, but a short stroll away, lies Alkincoats Park with its tennis courts, crown green bowling greens, complete with bowling academy and Pavilion Cafe.
